What it does
Once a week, a scheduled job reads VARAi Inc.’s own QuickBooks Online reports so finance can classify revenue by product and reconcile to the profit and loss total. It reads only company information and the profit and loss and sales reports.
What it never does
- It never creates, edits, voids, or deletes anything in QuickBooks.
- It never reads customer or vendor records directly, or payment details.
- It never shares data outside VARAi.
How it is secured
- It connects as a dedicated QuickBooks user with a reports-only role, not an administrator.
- Credentials are held in Google Cloud Secret Manager, never in code or logs.
- The service runs in isolation, with no access to VARAi’s other systems.
- Every call is logged, and any unexpected response stops the job and alerts VARAi.
Disconnect it
Access can be removed at any time, and doing so ends the Integration’s ability to read any data:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a company administrator.
- Open Settings, then Manage users, and delete the dedicated reports user, or open My apps and disconnect “Varai Revenue Reports.”
- To revoke at Intuit’s end, remove the app from your Intuit account’s connected apps.
Menu names can change; if you cannot find them, see Intuit’s help for managing connected apps.
Connect or reconnect
Connecting is a one-time authorization performed by VARAi finance administrators. If access has been revoked or has expired, the Integration stops and VARAi is notified; it is reconnected only by an authorized administrator. There is no public sign-up.
