# VARAi

> VARAi is the operating system for agentic commerce, purpose-built for the eyewear industry. The platform spans three systems — Design, Distribute, and Sell — and is in production with 1,400+ brands, designers, and manufacturers. We're building toward agentic commerce; the brands joining now help define what that becomes.

Founded by Alex de Bold (CEO) and Floris Diemel (President). Headquartered in Toronto with European operations in Amsterdam. Platform v2.1.0 hosted on Google Cloud across two regions: us-central1 (US) and europe-west1 (EU). GDPR compliant.

## The four systems

### Design (live)

A B2B collaboration platform for eyewear design teams, manufacturers, and clients. Real-time 3D viewer (GLB/GLTF), materials library with PBR templates, versioned approvals with annotation pinned to mesh, digital twin services (physical frame → GLB, project-based pricing), freelancer marketplace with commission model.

Pricing: $299/mo (Starter, independent designers), $799/mo (Professional, small studios), $1,999/mo (Enterprise, brands and manufacturers). Digital twin scanning: $500–$5,000 per project. Freelancer commission: 15%.

### Distribute (Q2 2026 beta)

Real-time supply chain integration between brands and their entire retailer network. Pricing, inventory, specifications, and orders synchronized live across every endpoint. Replaces NuOrder, Joor, EDI feeds, email pricelists, and tradeshow PDFs with one source of truth.

Pricing: $499/mo (Brand Starter, up to 25 retailers), $1,199/mo (Brand Growth, up to 100), $2,499/mo (Brand Enterprise, unlimited). Retailers join free.

### Sell (live)

Embedded widgets for storefronts, powered by token-based metering. Up to 75% cheaper on PD measurement vs the incumbent.

- Virtual Try-On — AI face tracking + 3D glasses overlay (9 tokens/session)
- PD Calculator — Medical-grade pupillary distance (29 tokens/session)
- AI Recommender — Face shape + style preference matching (35 tokens/session)
- Contact Lens Try-On — Iris-accurate color overlay (5 tokens/session)
- Fitting Height Medical — Clinical fitting pipeline (12 tokens/session)
- AI Business Advisor — Anomaly detection + trend insights (usage-based)

Platform integrations: Shopify (v2.0.0), WooCommerce (v1.7.0), Magento (v1.7.0), BigCommerce (in development). Dynamic Service Discovery resolves regional endpoints from a single API key.

Pricing tiers: Starter $199/mo (15K tokens), Growth $499/mo (60K), Scale $999/mo (125K), Pro $1,499/mo (300K), Enterprise $2,499+/mo.

### Retail (in development)

An agentic add-on for the POS systems optical retailers already run — no rip-and-replace required. Brings Virtual Try-On, AI recommendations, and PD capture to the in-store counter. Maintains a single unified customer profile across online and in-store touchpoints. Early access opening soon.
